I am so thankful this week has passed.

I needed a break from posting my thoughts because pretty much everything I have been thinking about this past week was negative.

I am ready for the new week and for me to get back on track with posting stories from my super, exciting life!!

So we are planning a trip to Mexico in July. By planning I mean crossing our fingers and toes and pinching every penny in hopes that we make it back to that beautiful beach I have missed sooo, so much. I think I might have been a mermaid in my past life because I feel like the beach (or bathtub, swimming pool, river, lake, water in general.) is where my heart is. I have felt like this since I was a little girl. I so hope this happens.

We had an AMAZING weekend! Shara and her husband spent the weekend with us and it was soooo much fun! Despite the fact that it was snowing like mad on the first day of spring we made good out of it with a couple bottles of wine, yummy homemade Thai food, beautiful fire, conversations that never ended and a sweet little girl bossing all of us around! It felt like a mini vacation!
