Digital, Film, Instant, OH MY!!!

So I have not kept up with my blog at all this week. It was one of "those" weeks. Scout and I were sick at the beginning of the week and once we were better we had so much to do the rest of the week! My amazing husband tested for his second black belt (he has one already under another sensei) on saturday. It was a grueling 4.5 hour test that was very hard to watch as a wife. He had a lot of support there and he did amazing! Although he can hardly move today.... I am very, very proud of him and his dedication to the marital arts.

In other news I have a new love affair. Well maybe an old rehashed love affair.

I have a brand new digital Canon PowerShot SX120 IS that I am sooo in love with! I can't wait to be able to afford a rebel or something like that, but for now this one is fabulous! I also have recently purchased two old Polaroid 600 cameras, but jesus I would have to sell my child in order to afford constant film for those things! We have had a couple of old 1970ish, badass film cameras sitting around. A Nikon and a Canon. They both have amazing lenses and can take amazing pictures. I have been reading my manual for the Nikon like crazy trying to figure it all out. I will be getting the Canon manual from my mom in law soon and will dive into that too.

I had 3 rolls of film developed today and man do I have some stuff to learn!!! Here are a few photos that I was kinda impressed with...
