So at around 11 am I finally got to see my tiny, bouncing bean. Literally, it was bouncing all over the screen. It's for real... I am pregnant. I AM NOT pregnant with twins!!!! YAY!!!! It measured me at around 7ish weeks but I am still going with 8. I know when I got knocked up bitches!
Scout was really excited to see the baby, she said "Awwww it's so adorable" =) She is warming up to the idea now, thank god. I could hardly believe that my "baby" was sitting there on the table with me looking at the new baby. So surreal.
I kept telling Nick, "OH MY GOD!!! We are having another kid!, Do people even have 2 kids anymore? Is that legal? Am I going to lose my mind" it really all came out like that too! One big question that ended with the answers "Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, oh yeah, for sure you are going to lose your mind" I love my husband.
Everything looked great. I am so happy.
I had gestational diabetes with Scout so my midwife wants me to go ahead and take a glucose test in the next week. I hate that shit so much and I hate watching my carbs too. But ,however, I do love really healthy babies so I guess I can give up most of my chocolate cake.

I don't know what to title this post. I cannot believe I am pregnant...again. That's what consumes my thoughts and will guarantee me a thought, but without words to describe it.

Here is the deal. I have been planning one of my my best friends baby shower since September (I like a really good head start on things!). I have done so much already and now here we are, 2 days away, and this is home stretch. This is where it comes down to all of the last minute details, the fun part. Guess who has zero energy to do this? Yep. You guessed right.

I say that to say this...

I think I will have more excitement for impending baby growing in my uterus once the baby shower has been completed to perfection. This sounds so bad. I know everything happens for a reason. I just feel like this happining should have happend sooner so I would be out of this dreaded first trimester or later so I would have boundless energy to accomplish this task! Nope. Not the case. So here I am, telling the universe to give me energy, give me hostess with the mostess attitude, give me my creativity back so this shower can rock everyones ass off! I cannot wait to show off all of this work! It's going to be so beautiful!!!!

In the meantime, everyone is convinced I am having twins. I think that is such a mean thing to say. Ok it's not mean. It just gives me chills, and I feel anger run through my veins :) I do not want twins. I am pretty sure I would fall off of this planet. I think that gravity would no longer work in my favor and I would just float away. I am so crossing my fingers that when I go in for my appointment on March 28th that I see only ONE wee babe on that screen, or just one heartbeat. However that works, cannot remember what they do at the first appointment other than tread areas that do no want to be tread(ed?). Ok, enough of that. So basically NO ONE wish me the "luck" of twins.
I don't need another reason to cry.
Hahahahaha.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Wisdom Wednesday

A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.

I was reading an article from Time magazine. It maybe was their online publication, I cannot remember. It was this past sunday, March 6. It talked about how basically people are suckered into being parents. It's a deathwish financially and emotionally. It was the most absurd article I have read about parents. I had to laugh. I mean I get that all of your money is used for other things besides going out, drinking, buying new things for yourself all of the time. I get it. And yes, emotionally it's exhausting, it's hard removing yourself from the center of attention and replacing it with a helpless little child. Honestly I cannot think of anything more exciting than spending my money of my child. There is a satisfaction that comes with caring for something.( I wonder if the people who wrote that article had pets? ) As far as those amazing emotions that comes with being a parent, ohmygod. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than sweet, morning sugars. Mmmhmm. That's it right there. Super, amazing emotion fireworks!
I really don't know where I am going with all of this. I just thought the article was nuts. Maybe my head is a little scattered, a lot blurry since I am currently..........

 Growing another bebe!!!

What?! Holy shitballs batman. Yes. Baby #2 is currently under construction. I will have my first appt March 28th to see how far I am, but I am pretty sure I am 5 weeks. I know it's to early to start blabbing my mouth to the blogworld. Whatev. I am to exhausted, overwhelmed, excited, nervous, what the hell am I going to do with 2 kids, I get to name another child, shaking, crying, dreaming, planning... to think of anything else other than telling all of you lovlies!
So here we go again!
holyshit.
